How do I order a cake?

Fill out our enquiry form with the style and flavour of cake you want, how many people you are catering for, and the date you need your cake.

How much notice do you need for a cake? 

​

At least a 1.5 weeks notice is best, however, under special circumstances, shoot us an email, or fill out our enquiry form and we will do our best to accommodate for you.

​

Custom orders may require more notice than regular cakes, so please take this into consideration.

​

What allergens are in your cakes? 

​

At Buttercream Bakes, we are able to cater for a variety of dietary requirements, including Vegan, Dairy-Free, Nut-Free and Egg-Free needs. Please note however, that our cakes are created using equipment that is also used for products containing nuts. The equipment is always thoroughly cleaned, however cross-contamination can occur, and consumption of our products is at your own discretion. We do not offer Gluten Free at this time.

 

Do you offer delivery?

A pickup date and time from our kitchen in Tighes Hill, Newcastle will be arranged upon ordering your cake. Delivery may be possible for an additional fee, depending on availability.

Am I able to design my own cake? 

​

Of course! We love seeing your ideas, as well as being able to bring your ideas to life. Custom orders may require more notice than our standard cakes, so please

I've seen a cake on your Instagram that I like, am I able to order the same one? 

​

Of course! Please send through a picture of the cake you like upon ordering. While the cake will be similar, as each cake is unique we cannot guarantee it will be exactly the same.

Can I change my order after placing it? 

​

Yes, however, if it is changed with less than 48 hours notice a fee may incur.

Do you accept bulk orders? 

​

Yes, we do – for all our products. Please let us know in your enquiry form how many items you are looking to order, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
